Tupper Lake Open
Pro-Am

More than a sporting event — the Tupper Lake Open Pro-Am is a celebration of community, competition, and the enduring love of the game. Held at the historic Tupper Lake Golf Club, it has grown to become the most distinguished golf tournament in the Adirondack region and the broader North Country.

This tournament is open to golfers of all skill levels. Amateur participants are flighted by verified GHIN handicap — meaning you compete against players of your own ability, not scratch golfers. If you have a GHIN handicap, you belong here.

History & Tradition

What is a
Pro-Am?

A Pro-Am — short for Professional-Amateur — is a unique format where club professionals compete alongside amateur golfers in the same tournament. It is where rising stars test their game, veterans defend legacies, and community members play shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the region's best. For spectators, it is a front-row seat to high-level golf and a summer celebration rolled into one.

Over 75 Years of Competition

Champions &
Legacy

With a history spanning over 75 years, the Pro-Am has drawn professionals and amateurs from across the Northeast and beyond. Regional professionals from New York and New England have made the trip to Tupper Lake each summer to take on the Donald Ross-designed layout — carved into the side of Mount Morris, weaving through tall pines and Adirondack vistas. It is the premier golf event in the North Country and it is not close.
